Bold and sparkly: Metallic eye makeup tricks


Metallic eye makeup is a must for parties and evening events. But did you know you can also put on eye sparkle during the day? Try out these tricks for your brand-new metallic look:

Make your eyes look bigger with a swipe of thin metallic liner If you want to try metallic eyes without overdoing it, try this simple trick. Choose a metallic white liner--it will make your eyes look bigger and vibrant without too much color.

Top off with a metallic shade For another subtle, sparkly look, top off your base eye shadow with a metallic one of the same shade. Try this with tan shades for a natural yet edgy feel. It is high-impact, but not overwhelming.

Highlight the inner corner of your eyes Highlight the inner corner of your eyes with a metallic white eyeliner. This will look well with smoky or natural-looking eye makeup.

Metallic under-brows Swipe a metallic nude under your brows as a highlighter.

  1. I haven't worn metallic makeup before because I am so intimidated by it. But after reading this and looking at the photos, I think I just need the right shade that will suits me and apply it correctly. :)

    1. Same here! I don't want to look as if I'm wearing theatrical makeup. But there's no harm in trying. Besides, we can start simply by using shimmery liner.
